Yet she hasn't been arrested.

You'd think the Trump Squad would be straining at the leash for any opportunity to get a vice-presidential Dem candidate in trouble.....
What she is doing is legal, as long as she stands a certain distance from the polling station.

Each state has nuanced rules on it. The distance varies.

They are outside polling stations, have you ever voted in a South African election before?
Yes, and it annoys the shet out of me. I'm asking if they like it if they did it too.
We've been a DA area since the DA was formed. The ANC is always set up outside the school we use to vote.

Nothing stopping his staff members from wearing masks and socially distancing.

Also, can you confirm that Pence had no contact with his staff members? I go weeks without seeing my direct manager.
Good leadership and empathy from Pence could have?

He could have made sure his staff stuck to social distancing and mask wearing, by demonstrating positive behaviours and reminding them of the importance of these measures to protect the safety, health and well being of his team.

Legal but unethical, the Democrat way.

It's perfectly ethical. It's positive. Nobody is intimidated from voting - quite the opposite. Maybe some people find it annoying, well, sorry but you have people outside voter stations all over the country making demonstrations, playing music, and generally having a presence. There's nothing wrong with it as long as it doesn't rise to the level of intimidation.

Expecting professionals in the White House to look after their own health is a stretch, I see.

Clearly not. Even in my leafy suburb there are parties around the entrance as we walk into the voting station.

Not to mention is looks like there is an entire pavement open to walk into the polling station. I would hate to see cerebus in a crowded pub / bar or club if that intimidates him.

Expecting leadership in the current Whitehouse is also a stretch it seems.

"Leadership" is not babying staff continuously. They are fully aware of the risks. If they cannot remember to follow simple guidelines (especially almost 9 months into this **** show), that's a them problem.

You'd think a potential VP (and potus in 2 years if Biden wins) would know the rules
You'd think a nobody wbot in South Africa, would realise that a potential VP knows and understands the rules better than wbot. In fact, I bet wbot can't even quote or reference the specific rules wbot asserts she has broken

If your leadership fails to set an example, why should junior staff bother to follow the rules if there bosses don't follow the same rules?

If your leadership spent the first few months knowingly deny the seriousness of the virus, how does that breed a climate of empathy with respect to possibly infecting people with the virus?

Fundamental cornerstone of leadership is lead by example. You cannot expect people under you to follow the rules if you decide you are above those same standards.

IIRC, Trump Pence jumped into action pretty quickly.

This is pure projection.

Like the time Pence refused to wear a mask at the Mayo clinic, defying the guidelines at the time?

Was that the current Whitehouse standard of jumping into action pretty quickly?
