It is pretty hilarious how AOC's views in many ways is basically on par with Australia and the UK's conservative parties. Neither of those are clamoring to dismantle their universal healthcare systems.

The 'radical socialist' approach of Sanders and AOC is essentially to replicate the successful parts of Europe, Australasia and the Nordic countries, including the positions of those countries' conservative parties.

The US' conservative movement is just so regressive that it warps their perspective completely.
