Why would they act? They can pass a majority with a "mandate" of 20% of the electorate if they wanted to.
I thought the topic of conversation was why mandatory voting was a bad thing. Posts appear to have been deleted, so perhaps there was a misunderstanding.

Ja. I agree with with you but the problem here is a stupid and lazy electorate that don't vote or will just tick the wrong box.

Your solution assumes most absentee voters are protest votes that it means something and not just laziness.

The better solution is the limit who can vote so that only the best people vote.
I like only taxpayers should get a vote, as ultimately you are voting for how the money is going to be spent.

That country is fcked. One candidate is a pervert, the other one a creepy weirdo.
In a World where people are so afraid of each other, I'm sure hugging seems creepy/weird...........

Interesting that the kid literally ran to him to get a hug...

The mother describes it as "kind, compassionate"

He liked the hug so much he voted for Biden afterwards...

Of course the bias conspiracies will show him only hugging woman.. He's just sensual. Not all communication is verbal; silence can be communication; hugging can be communication.

I'd give Biden a hug. Hugging isn't sexual. Go get some hugs. Lol

"It was such an incredible experience. I'm honoured." .... Even after Biden rubs his hair.......

He's a president that hugs. Get over it.

How is it that some extremism has been normalised?

Bannon can call for the death of the leader of the FBI and its like meh, that's just Bannon being Bannon.

Hilarious when people lob death threats about -

"Second term kicks off with firing Wray, firing Fauci, no, I actually want to go a step farther, but the president is a kind-hearted man and a good man, I'd actually like to go back to the old times of Tudor England. I'd put their heads on pikes, right, I'd put them at the two corners of the White House as a warning to federal bureaucrats, you either get with the program or you're gone."

Someone better phone the police before someone thinks Bannon's day-dreaming about how he'd do his presidency means he wants people to go out and commit murder! Oh noes!

She's sort of right and she's talking about the election being stolen from her by the revelations that are largely attributed to Russia's meddling. Meddling that US intelligence admits and Trump imposed sanctions on Russia for.
Oh noes, the Russians bought a couple of facebook ads and stole Hillary's election... :cautious:
