There's no doubt that Trump's policies was like a nitro boost to the economy. The timing of the tax cuts was right when the economy was doing well anyways. Unfortunately this comes with longer term problems: his tax cuts didn't pay for itself as they anticipated. The budget deficit has ballooned and the unfortunate timing of the pandemic depression means that the tools to actually stimulate the economy have been exhausted. As for us lower and middle class people, our tax cuts are set to expire at the end of the year.View attachment 948052

Also, this is why Hawley is an early pick for 2024. Yale Law School graduate & far more eloquent than Mr. Trump, he will get some of the 'soccer moms' to return to the party.

It's almost as if the Republican controlled Congress anticipated Trump losing in 2020 and had a useful scapegoat of the new Democratic administration when everyone's paychecks will be less than it was the year prior. Of course these tax cuts only expire for us, the working people.
