Weird, keep hearing from the Dem supporters on here that Trump's policies only benefited the rich...

Also, this is why Hawley is an early pick for 2024. Yale Law School graduate & far more eloquent than Mr. Trump, he will get some of the 'soccer moms' to return to the party.

There's no doubt that Trump's policies was like a nitro boost to the economy. The timing of the tax cuts was right when the economy was doing well anyways. Unfortunately this comes with longer term problems: his tax cuts didn't pay for itself as they anticipated. The budget deficit has ballooned and the unfortunate timing of the pandemic depression means that the tools to actually stimulate the economy have been exhausted. As for us lower and middle class people, our tax cuts are set to expire at the end of the year.

It's almost as if the Republican controlled Congress anticipated Trump losing in 2020 and had a useful scapegoat of the new Democratic administration when everyone's paychecks will be less than it was the year prior. Of course these tax cuts only expire for us, the working people.

Looking forward to 4 years of waking up and not seeing the President of the USA attacking his military, or families of servicemen, not making up BS about NATO, or misunderstanding tariffs so badly that you bankrupt farms and lobster fisherman, lying about a virus that's killing 1000's of people a day, lying and attacking opponents as enemies who should be locked up, making up stuff then sweeping it under the rug when nothing comes about and and and.

The best thing will be his tweets will no longer mean anything.
You know why tarrifs are bad right? It is because they are a tax.

You know what 'nuncle Biden is going to do to taxes?

I was amazed to discover that there is no ID check, even with in-person voting, in the UK. Don't know what it's like in the rest of the first world but I think fraud has always been easy in the US too, mail-in ballots or not.
Neither side trusts the election system.
We had 4 years of investigations into the Russia thing, and they found pretty much nothing.
That would not have happened if people actually trusted the system.

Is this Hunter Biden laptop style fraud, or fraud fraud?

I kid (sort of), but as far as I can see there has been very little (if any moreso than usual) impropriety, and from a bit of reading it looks EXTREMELY unlikely that there are any reasonable legal avenues to go down here.

Time will tell, and for the record, I am of course fully in support of any actual fraud being dealt with appropriately, it is just that, as of now, seems like not much more than sour grapes.
There's very few reporting of it by MSM so if fox news is your only source of information you probably wont be aware of any fraud.

You might want to look up the procedure, the Senate doesn't vote for the new president in a contingent election.
Hence the question mark. If you know better you could just tell us.

Well, no worries on that front I can assure you...

*edit*

And to be perfectly clear: I'm not a moron - I will obviously look into all the alleged fraud from a variety of sources, otherwise how could I hold any sort of opinion with a straight face?

You need to use the higher sources of information, the best source. Donald Trump, . If you don't do Donald you are misinformed. Also his royal family members are an equally bestest source of information. Most sane people don't even question what they say, but recognise it as truth

I check his Twatter daily, don't you worry. I might even have the secret membership we're not meant to talk about.

Lawyers for Pennsylvania Republicans are asking the US Supreme Court to order the state to not take any action on any mail-in ballots received after Election Day, November 3.

The Pennsylvania secretary of state has already ordered any ballots that arrive between Wednesday, November 4, and Friday, November 6, be segregated from those that arrived by Election Day, pending ongoing litigation, and the state GOP’s request simply asks the court to enforce that action as well as order that “no action” is taken on the ballots.

My thinking is the ballots will be thrown out as the Pennsylvania court made a bizarre decision that stated the ballots did not require proof that they were sent on or before the 3rd of November. However the ballots received after the 3rd of November will be too small to change the outcome.
