Some of you are up the Americans' a%#s it is not funny.

The Americans were being their usual selves, bossy, arrogant with probably the wrong or fake Intel. As usual, their usual suspect partners joined in to appease the master.

Now, our government ain't sh£t either, they are probably the kings of f%*k ups in so many areas that it is difficult to trust it, but what did you expect them to do when they have tried their best to cover their bases and the Americans just wouldn't play ball?

It should be interesting to follow the story about the Americans blowing up the case that the South Africans were working on regarding the six suspects. I'd like to know more about that.

There just are too many loose screws on this Hummer, I wouldn't drive it myself unless the Americans tightened up those screws.

The "sheeple" are victims of Western brainwashing.

If their intelligence was so on point, the Trumptards would not have been able to storm the capitol. We have never even had such an uncivilized attack on our parliament.

Firstly ppl, the notice was issued under travel advisories on a State Dept Website - for the sake of us citizens & federal staff - not cashiers at checkers, tyre fixers at Mr Tyre & random network admins.
If you want to read somebody else's mail not addressed to, or meant for you - so be it.

Diplomatic mussions all over the world from different countries, perform certain services and functions - the core function to all, is consular assistance - which includes notices and advisories like this one.
The guest nation has no obligation to share information with the host nation.
Information is however often shared - shared with nations who treat the information in accordance with its content.
It is pointless sharing intelligence with a nation who's services are as leaky as a rusty sieve, and who's members services are traded by business entities for their own political objectives.

And of course when the host nation has been given information but chooses to go out and feed on KFC, or bangers & mash, instead of properly assessing information - then the host nation is caught with its pants down and will immediately go into denial.

This is text book - and played out here exactly as text book

First: they had real intelligence. They would not risk offending the pride movement otherwise in this woke world.

Second: they won't reveal what the real intelligence was otherwise it would reveal a lot about how and when it was gathered hurting their ability to get more intelligence.

Third: While there was no actual attack, there is a decent chance there would have been one if the intelligence was not revealed. That much attention would scare most attackers off. Same way a burglar planning to rob a house would cancel his plans if he became aware the house was aware and was extra vigilant.

Fourth: I am not surprised the USA has been uncooperative for the most part to our Guvament and that the ANC has been disparaging towards the USA. The ANC are idiots, and are backing Russia in the UN currently in various ways. While the US is allowing trade to continue with us their relationship with the ANC is pretty much at an all time low currently due to the Ukraine situation.

Our foreign policy is more rational than most of the world. It's the reason we don't have terror attacks.
?????

Are you that blind? We are already on a downward trajectory due to our policy of actively supporting a Pariah state. Foreign investment has dried up, we are last in line for any kind of decent trade deal, our economy is steadily shrinking in real terms, and you think our foreign policy is both sane, and helping us? On what basis? Show me one way our policy has in any way helped us? I can show you dozens of ways its hurt us from just the last year.

What do you define as "on point" exactly? Where are these people who can predict the future?
Having intelligence and predicting events are not the same.

No, the SA parliament just got burnt to the ground by some homeless guy who managed to walk straight in past guards, non functioning CCTV cameras and set fire to the building that had a non functioning fire sprinkler system.

No attack needed to take out the SA parliament. Just an untrained homeless guy required.

We don't have terror attacks? There have been several. Your head is in the sand:

Can you reference the South African foreign policy document at all please? They make it up as they go along.

Why the ANC chooses the pariah skunk states to support when it's going to hurt the country, I have no idea.
