they presumably passed the warning on to government but wouldn't share more because sources and methods.
In fairness, too much "presumabley" wrapped up in that to make sense. What is fact and what's not?

If you don't agree with my view, put your facts on the table to refute my argument.

You don't get to decide who and what I reply to. When did you become the forum police? Here's a badge for you:

Just as I don't get to decide what you reply to, so don't you get to decide what other people may think. It is their free will and their opinion whether it is factual or not. So thank you for the badge, I will put it alongside my noddy badge as well.

Skimmed through the thread so not sure if it's been mentioned already, but one of our committee members commented the following this morning in reply to someone linking the News24 article:

"Ja, my skoonsuster werk vir Pfizer. Hul was al almal in Johannesburg te Sandton, maar is gevra om Sandton te verlaat. Almal is laat terugvlieg vanoggend as voorsorgmaatreël."

She further explained that "Pfizer canceled their annual congress in Sandton today regarding Terrorism threats."

It's quite scary how many businesses would have been affected like this.

Interesting though that Pride is going on despite the scare. I assumed they are the target ?

I think if everything is canceled and close then terror "Wins" without even doing anything.

It definitely makes me wonder if the US alerted about the "terrorism" threat to save Pfizer folks (US company), instead of the gays, which we all assume.

Then again, Islamists aren't pro gays either - so that also checks out.

I don't tell anyone what to think. But I will refute any misinformation with facts. Now can you get on topic please?
