And all the "I told you so's" of the 1980s are proven correct.

They're on a list, it's just they are not allowed to be hired because Quotas.Worse than that they believe they have a plan but that plan has no substance and all the engineers who could come up with a plan are nowhere to be found.

If you get yourself a nice solar driven borehole, today even, when the dark time comes you're gonna get aaaaaall the ladies.
FTFYSA grid isn't remotely close to collapse.
Eskom has about 59GW of capacity of which 20GW is offline (broken).
Load shedding is about 1GW per stage.
Stage 8 is roughly 8GW. Lets make it 10 to be generous.
Systems are in place to reduce demand very quickly in South Africa. Everyone is used to this and prepared for it. There would need to be an absolutely catastrophic level event to cause a cascading collapse, and such an event would likely knock out any other power utility.
Lol.FTFY
Sure, it's called Manual Load Reduction (MLR) aka loadshedding aka rolling blackouts.Lol.

Point still stands. They are still maintaining a fair gap between supply and demand.
Of course, but that shows that they are actively making sure that SA won't have a cascade failure.Sure, it's called Manual Load Reduction (MLR) aka loadshedding aka rolling blackouts.
