The man charged with the rape of a 10-year-old girl in Ohio is a Guatemalan illegal immigrant, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) source told Fox News Digital on Wednesday.

The Columbus Dispatch first reported that Gerson Fuentes was arrested after police said he confessed to raping a child on multiple occasions. He has been charged with rape, and the outlet reported that he was possibly in the country illegally.

The source confirmed to Fox that Fuentes is a Guatemalan national in the country illegally and that ICE has placed a detainer on Fuentes, which is a request he eventually be handed over to the agency for removal proceedings.

The story of the alleged rape was initially published in the Indianapolis Star in the context of the victim reportedly having to cross state lines to Indiana to get an abortion due to the state’s laws. It was cited by proponents of abortion access, who highlighted it as an example of the consequences of access being limited.

So which occurred first, the illegal immigration or the rape?

People were correct to doubt the story and even WaPo came to that conclusion.
Also the "forced out of state" is nonsense, there is an exemption in their law that would be applicable to the victim. However that kinda spoils the click bait nature of the story.

I think I’ve been pretty clear on this board that in the year of our lord, 2022, I think women should be able to decide for them damn selves, with no input from christofascists hell bent on owning women’s uteruses required, thank you very much… Much as some men folk would like it, we’re not living in a Margaret Atwood novel.

Similar to South Africa, it is not Uncommon for (illegally here) Zimbabweans and other illegal Africans to resort to crime and specifically violent crime. But you run the risk of being called Racist (if white) or Xenophobic if ( black) should you point this out.

This is really basic common sense, do you ensure only chickens come into your chicken coop, or do you make it easier for predators to also enter. And for the thick skulls, do you let every random person in your house?

I find it a beautiful irony for people to moan about immigrants while simultaneously trying their best to flee to another country as well. Obviously if a person is here illegally, their opportunities and support are extremely limited.

People that obsess about race and how people perceive them usually are racist. There are a lot of illegal immigrants here also trying to make a better life without harming others, and are the target of xenophobic attacks for the sins for other people.
