US Politics: A Threat to Democracy

Interesting. So I could say you sexually assaulted me and you'd have to pay since I wouldn't need evidence?
We may be in different time zones here, as it feels I've already answered this one.

In essence, yes. Let's see the evidence presented by someone who couldn't remember the incident clearly, but managed to remember the LAO episode that she copied it from. How do you present evidence for something that the statute has lapsed for?

Hmm. I think the demon crazies have now learnt - you don't send a woman to do a man's job.
If you're an evangelical, then the surprises are only starting for you. Probably around the time you learn what the Libertarian (you know the small gubmint crowd) stances on borders (way open, as open as can be) and inalienable freedoms such as medically assisted suicide and abortions are. And of course religion (hint, they are anti-clerical, and far, far more likely to be atheist than your average democrat). And they don't give a **** if you're a man or a woman. As long as you have good money, or are otherwise for sale.

I did not. More important IRL stuff came up.
Agreed. But there is no proof that Trump will make anything better for those who are not part of the elite. If anything, he has demonstrated he is only in it for the elites, as demonstrated by his raising taxes for all but the rich during his last term. But yes, I agree with you on your initial point.
I'd expect nothing less from him. In the final analysis he's in it for himself, isn't he?
There are many reasons Kamala lost, but yes, Trump played to the problems of those in the middle and working class, many of the problems he himself created. Like when the Dems tried to get their border bill through the senate, Trump told the Republicans to shut it down. Then he finds himself winning on the thing he blocked just months later. This is what amazes me about the people who not only voted for him, but the people who support him here. It's great politics, but great politics rarely benefits the average person.
We won't agree on the border bill. Wolf in sheep's clothing, and the reason I'm glad the Dems lost. Hopefully they can regroup and find another Tulsi before the next election.
"A jury found Donald Trump liable Tuesday for sexually abusing advice columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996, awarding her $5 million in a judgment..."
A jury found OJ Simpson not guilty and Derick Chauvin guilty. Incongruity abounds.

I don't but considering the number of pro-Trump people in this thread, I may be a little too proactive on my assumptions.
You'd be given ample leeway for that.

jirre, someone has some entirely warped views on what libertarianism is

for one: private property is sacrosanct, you will not find a single libertarian in history that believes in BS like "open borders" at the risk of private property

they do indeed believe in freedom of movement, not f-ing rocking up on their land and holding out cupped hands

PS: the average democrat these days looks to be satanist, an atheist is surely preferable

Added to ignore list because I don't have time for this type of ****. People really need to ditch this type of thinking. As someone who has engaged with people with mental health issues, men can be as crazy as women. What's between your legs has got nothing to do with whether you're capable of making good decisions.

Fair enough.

That being said, this is one of those cases of those cases where I'd give the accuser the benefit of the doubt though. Considering Trump's "grab em by the *****" comments, walking in on beauty pageant contestants while they were dressing, wanting to date his daughter, etc, I'd say where there is smoke there's fire.
