No wonder Emjay is desperately flailing, especially with stories like this coming out, daily now:

It's such a pathetic attempt to defend Trump. Actually, everyone and everything is equally bad and corrupt, so ignore Trump's ongoing malfeasance and obviously impeachable conduct.

Same mentality that sits behind defending Trump's 14k lies while laughably trying to censure Adam Schiff for dishonesty.

Can't be. We were told impeachment would be good for Trump.

Now his worthless minions have to pull absurd stunts like this.

Am I supposed to take you or cerebus seriously at all? Do you think your elitist, high and almighty attitude does you any favours? Please. Just look at your behaviour from a few months back. You want to sit back and judge those around you and think your own **** does not smell.

You know what is really worthless? Your endless, inane and boring virtue signalling. At the end of the day, this nonsense makes zero difference in my life. Sure, it's entertaining for me. I however suggest you take a hard look at yourself if you are stooping so low as to call people "worthless" because they don't agree with you politically.

@OrbitalDawn Now that you've been deified by Em, will you be wanting weekly prayer meetings in your name? Tithes? Sacrifices?

Will you be instituting some mechanism of preemptive or retrospective sin forgiveness?

Is there a dress code?

Calling one's political adversaries names like Pencil Neck, demtards etc. is what's become of political discourse in the Trump era. Mr Trump has had a truly toxic influence over politics.

I have never called anyone Demtards, so try again?

Also, I am pretty sure that many people here have called Trump quite a number of different names. Are you going to try tell us that's also an issue, or nah?

Levels of sanctimony that high can only be achieved after you've come to the conclusion that the sun shines outta your bunghole.

Have you ever had a friend or acquaintance that will try convert you to Christianity no matter what? One of those that would almost harass you to convert to the point where you would avoid them? I get the same feeling from these two. It's almost as if this is their religion, and they are seriously invested in what I believe, so much so they are trying to convert me to an Anti-Trumper by showing me my bad, bad ways. They keep throwing their media links at me over and over like bible versus too.

I did subsequently retract what I had written. When I wrote it, I had given in to my basest instincts and stooped to the level that Trump has normalised, which I should not have done. I believe that most Trump supporters are good people, I just cannot fathom how they can turn a blind eye to his many transgressions.

I wasn't referring exclusively to you. With previous presidents, such name-calling didn't happen in the mainstream. Mr Trump has normalised name-calling and insulting.

Mr Trump has now tweeted that he was only kidding when he mentioned that the wall is also being built in Colorado. If so, I don't really get the joke, but whatever.

Mr Trump has labelled as "human scum" those Republicans who oppose him, so I guess that he should also take a hard look at himself for stooping so low.

Yeah, he should. I take it you did the same thing after you retracted your opinion that Trump supporters deserve worse than being spat on?

Edit:

Never mind. I found a link myself.

Fair enough.

Btw, a democrat called his supporters deplorables, are you also going to blame Trump for that?

Trump lawyer: Trump can’t be prosecuted for shooting someone

Trump is fighting the subpoena on the grounds that as president, he has absolute immunity from criminal indictment or investigation. His attorney said that would block Trump from being arrested and charged even if he followed through on his campaign trail claim: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and wouldn’t lose any voters, okay?”
Story Continued Below

Attorney William Consovoy argued that New York authorities would have to wait until the president was out of office to arrest and charge him for that crime. The DA's office argued the claim was a fabrication.
“Once a president is removed from office, any local authority” could prosecute him, Consovoy told a panel of three judges from the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals. “This is not a permanent immunity.”
Judge Denny Chin pressed him on how the crime would be handled while Trump remained in office. “Nothing could be done, that’s your position?” he said.
“That is correct,” Consovoy replied.

This is legitimately insane. They're arguing that he can't be prosecuted for anything at all up to and including murder, as long as he's president. AND arguing that he could keep committing crimes without anyone being able to prevent him unless he got removed from office. All this based purely on the DOJ memo that a sitting president shouldn't be indicted while in office. I guess that's all you're left with when it's evident to the whole world that the president HAS committed huge crimes, lots of them, in one single act.
