Fair enough.

Btw, a democrat called his supporters deplorables, are you also going to blame Trump for that?

I guess then that if one supports Trump, you're deplorable, and if you oppose him, you're scum.

I'm not comparing Mr Trump to Joseph Stalin, but what's currently happening - him calling for Schiff to be tried for treason, calling Republican dissenters human scum, allegations of a "deep state" conspiring against him, etc., reminds me of the Great Purge under Stalin, when he went after his political opponents, including within his own party, with fabricated and trumped-up allegations of plotting against the government, in order to have them imprisoned and executed.

Apparently Mr Trump had, the day before, met with the group of Republicans who tried to prevent Laura Cooper from being interviewed, and gave his blessing for what they subsequently did.

“Fuskwit leftist morons” sounds more reasonable to me.

Trump should rather not respond when leftist attack him or the USA .

And Shiff is lying scum, how the hell they trust him with classified information is a mystery.

The same way they trust Trump with classified information, the democratic process.

Given how hes constantly leaking cherry picked snippets, I'm surprised he hasn't been arrested yet

But Matthew Whitaker, Trump’s former acting attorney general, appears to have done away with such pretenses—presidents, he essentially argued Tuesday night, can do whatever they want without consequences, simply by virtue of their office.

“Abuse of power is not a crime,” the nation’s former top law enforcement official told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, evincing a poor understanding of how the law works. “The Constitution is very clear that this has to be some pretty egregious behavior, and [Democrats] cannot tell the American people what this case is even about right now.”

I'm old enough to remember when Devin Nunes had Shiff's job, and basically broke the House Intelligence Committee by sneaking into the WH to take briefings and share congressional info with staff there, all to release a partisan fiction, full of cherry picked snippets, that came to be known as the Nunes Memo... Oh, and also that other time 41 of his congressional pals stormed a SCIF and breached national security, breaking the law... But, you know, arrest Adam Shiff or whatever.

@OrbitalDawn Now that you've been deified by Em, will you be wanting weekly prayer meetings in your name? Tithes? Sacrifices?

Will you be instituting some mechanism of preemptive or retrospective sin forgiveness?

Is there a dress code?

Note how it's all just empty whining and not a single refutation of anything I posted?

Poster child for the "I'm not mad, I'm actually laughing, this is totally funny to me, you're the one that's mad" meme.

Am I supposed to take you or cerebus seriously at all? Do you think your elitist, high and almighty attitude does you any favours? Please. Just look at your behaviour from a few months back. You want to sit back and judge those around you and think your own **** does not smell.

You know what is really worthless? Your endless, inane and boring virtue signalling. At the end of the day, this nonsense makes zero difference in my life. Sure, it's entertaining for me. I however suggest you take a hard look at yourself if you are stooping so low as to call people "worthless" because they don't agree with you politically.

I was referring to Matt Gaetz and his merry band of thugs who see it fit to storm classified hearings to intimidate witnesses and obstruct legitimate congressional inquiry. Something even more absurd given how more than 45 Republicans already have access to the depositions and can ask any questions they want, because they're part of the Committees conducting the hearings.

Trump lawyer: Trump can’t be prosecuted for shooting someone

This is legitimately insane. They're arguing that he can't be prosecuted for anything at all up to and including murder, as long as he's president. AND arguing that he could keep committing crimes without anyone being able to prevent him unless he got removed from office. All this based purely on the DOJ memo that a sitting president shouldn't be indicted while in office. I guess that's all you're left with when it's evident to the whole world that the president HAS committed huge crimes, lots of them, in one single act.

It's actually even worse than that. His lawyers are actually arguing that because Trump and his businesses are inseparable (in his mind), a flagrant broken campaign promise btw, his immunity extends to his businesses, too. They're actually arguing that that no law enforcement can investigate anything to do with him or his businesses while he's president.

Apparently Mr Trump had, the day before, met with the group of Republicans who tried to prevent Laura Cooper from being interviewed, and gave his blessing for what they subsequently did.

Another instance to add to the obstruction of congress article of impeachment. :)

Apple doesn't fall far from the tree, too. Nunes minions are Trump's dealers on this.

Oh, and whaddyaknow - the columnist whose behind a lot of the conspiracy theories about Biden shares a pair of shady lawyers with the corrupt Ukrainian oligarch that pushed to get dirt on Biden for Giuliani.

And to top off the wing-nut news cycle today, the fever swamp conspiracy theory that Xarog espouses got blown out of the water again.

I wasn't referring exclusively to you. With previous presidents, such name-calling didn't happen in the mainstream. Mr Trump has normalised name-calling and insulting.
You must be young and ignorant. The Bush and Obama years were full of fun name calling. Do you want an ice machine from father Xmas to keep those snowflakes intact? How about a pair?

Any sign of a vote for impeachment on the horizon? Can't wait for that!

These folks are walking, talking versions of that, "the truth is, these aren't very bright guys, and things got out of hand" line from All the President's Men... They should be supervised by an adult at all times... All of them.

You mean like "not American", "born in Kenya" and "Muslim"?

Also, your pet turtle Mitch wouldn't consider a Supreme Court judge nomination in the last election year so I recon it's only fair that Nancy hold an impeachment in the next one. Don't you?

Sure, go balls. No-one thinks the Demtards are the angels anymore anyway. We all know both parties are corrupt, full of BS and basically owned or beholden to big money. Well, except brainwashed partisans like yourself and OD
