Like the entirety of Russiagate, any juicy morsels were leaked before they should have made it to the public. Do you honestly think that if there were any further embarrassing info that we would not know about it? It's not like we have had years of Russiagate teaching us anything.

That's not what happened during the Mueller investigation either. What happened is, investigative reporters dug up information and presented it to the public that was corroborated when the report came out. There's no evidence that Mueller leaked anything to the press, and there's plenty that was redacted from the report that we still have no idea about.

Also you're a total contradiction here. Do you want this information public or not? You're blasting the process for secrecy and ranting about how it all stinks, but also blasting any news that does get leaked because it's damaging to Trump.

Supporters of Mr Trump ought to be grateful that these interviews are being conducted behind close doors. Imagine the many juicy soundbites that Democrats would have with which to hurt Mr Trump's reputation if what was being said in these interviews, was being broadcast. Furthermore, the Trump camp need look no further than Mr Trump, Mr Giuliani and Mr Mulvaney themselves for fueling a trial by media through the highly incriminating statements that they've made on television. Mr Mulvaney admitted in so many words that aid was held up partly because they wanted Ukraine to investigate Biden, while Mr Trump asked China to investigate Biden in a televised interview. As for Mr Giuliani, whatever, I don't understand his logically incoherent ramblings most of the time, but he's not doing Mr Trump any favours when he represents him on TV.
:ROFL:Sure sure, the dems are protecting trumps reputation:ROFL:

I am going to say it for you, because it seems like you need it: Everything is going to be fine. Trump is not going to do anything to impact your life directly.

Wrong. To name but two examples where Trump is impacting my life, Trump's trade policy is hurting the South African economy, and his environmental policy is damaging the entire planet.

Huuurrrmmmpppfffff.

Trump is damaging the environment! But I will post this using a device which was manufactured in China under lax environmental laws and by exploited workers.

Yoh, such bad faith debating. You know that's not her argument. This is why no one takes you seriously.

Well, would you look at that.

My twitter is starting to say that John Bolton's lawyers are taking to the impeachment committees about a possible deposition.

The party of law and order indeed...

DeVos held in contempt for violating judge's order on student loans

A federal judge on Thursday held Education Secretary Betsy DeVos in contempt of court and imposed a $100,000 fine for violating an order to stop collecting on the student loans owed by students of a defunct for-profit college.

The exceedingly rare judicial rebuke of a Cabinet secretary came after the Trump administration was forced to admit to the court earlier this year that it erroneously collected on the loans of some 16,000 borrowers who attended Corinthian Colleges despite being ordered to stop doing so.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Sallie Kim wrote that "the evidence shows only minimal efforts to comply with the preliminary injunction" she issued in May 2018 ordering the Education Department to halt its collection of the loans.

DeVos is named in the lawsuit in her official capacity as secretary of Education. She will not be personally responsible for paying the $100,000 in monetary sanctions, which will be paid by the government.

The judge ordered that the fine go to a fund held by the former Corinthian students’ attorneys. It’s meant to help defray the damages and expenses associated with the improper collection of the loans, she said. The judge ordered the government and the attorneys to come up with a plan for administering the fund.

I don't think Bolton is a dove.

Really?

You reflexively responded to my "we all know Bolton is always up for a little regime change" post with, "Your true colours are shining through."

I'm calling him a hawk and you seem upset by that.

No. Not upset. In that post you correctly identify the sham the impeachment proceedings is as regime change and you seemed to be excited about it.

Maybe it's just me that read it wrong, carry on.

Sure, I get how you could read it like that and not in the context of Bolton's history, but riddle me this...

If Donnie is convicted and removed from office who becomes president?

Is it Hillary or is it Mike Pence?

If it's Hillary, sure, rage on about regime change...

If it's Mikey, Donnie's running-mate and VP, it's precisely how the founders intended succession to work in the case of impeachment, incapacity or death in office... Just like LBJ after Kennedy's assassination and Ford after Nixon's resignation... Republicans *still* hold the WH, just like they did in '74 and like the Democrats did in '60.

So, which is it, Hillary or Mike?

I know it is Mike. He is okay, but not quite Trump.

Yet Trump still sits in office with this evidence thrown around by the Democrats. Sounds all very far fetched and knee jerking by dems who seem to be getting their e55 handed to them daily

Trump will be a far worse president in his second term, should he ever get to serve a second term, because the one thing that's keeping him in check in his first term is that he wants to be re-elected and so can't go all-out nuclear with trade wars and what. But in a second term, he'll have nothing to lose and will enact a scorched-earth policy to be spiteful and make his poor successor, who'll have to pick up the pieces, look bad.
