It sort of beggars belief.

Trump supporters do not give a flying fart about Trump's corruption and most of them only half-heartedly believe in the conspiracy theories. They back Trump because of his racist, pro-life, pro-religion, hyperpartisan agenda. A lot of his supporters are just antisocial celibate young men who want to blame liberals for their inability to get laid, and the more he 'triggers' the libs, the more they stand by him. There isn't a single honest person in the whole bunch, but they're plenty intelligent enough to know that he's corrupt.

I wouldn't dismiss them as easily as that. Even flat earthers have highly qualified people - so I hear. Look here at the support he receives on this thread. There are patterns you will recognize if you go through who supports trump
1. High probability of being specific race
2. High probability of belonging to a specific religion
3. High probability of them equating malema with all blacks.
4. Perhaps not so high probability - similar to confederate flag supporters over there, old SA flag supporters here

All this is exactly similar to support trump gets that side on the so called bible belt. It is amazing to see how people unite across continents.

Nothing from the Mueller investigation was shown to be rubbish. Even Corey Lewandowski admitted a few days ago that the report was substantially accurate about his actions to cover up Trump's obstruction of justice.

It's not a dead end. If Trump didn't have oatmeal for brains he'd be a genuine threat to US democracy. He still is. Look what's happened to democracy in Russia, it's become hollowed out because of Putin. His supporters don't care about his corruption because it suits them, or they're brainwashed.
