So President Biden has completed 100 days as president , administered more than 200 million of Trump's vaccines, has the 3rd lowest approval rating since Truman, has pissed off the conservatives with rich tax proposals, has pissed off progressives for not giving away enough free stuff.....and still remains in power to the dismay of Trump's inserectionists and Harris's prayers.

Is he a roaring success, or dismal failure?

As President Joe Biden gets close to his 100th day in office, his approval rating is better than that of his predecessor, Donald Trump, according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll. But that isn’t saying much. With 52 percent of Americans approving of Biden’s job performance, and 42 percent disapproving, it marks the third-lowest approval rating for any president in the first 100 days since Harry Truman. The two people who had worse ratings were Gerald Ford in 1974, when he had a 48 percent approval rating after his pardon of Richard Nixon, and Donald Trump, who was at 42 percent at this point in his presidency four years ago. From Truman to Biden, the average approval rating at the 100-day mark is 66 percent.

Washington: The Biden administration has announced it will soon begin sharing tens of millions of doses of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine with other countries given there is no need for them in the United States.

The US is expected to have around 60 million AstraZeneca doses available to ship overseas in May and June, depending on approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The White House has not announced which countries will receive the vaccine, but India would be an obvious choice given the alarming surge of COVID-19 cases there.

Canada and Mexico, which both border the US, have previously received shipments from America’s AstraZeneca stockpile and are eager to get access to more doses.

When immigration policy changes in Washington, D.C., it's felt immediately on the Jones Ranch, located an hour's drive north of the Rio Grande in South Texas.

Whit Jones III — in a mud-spattered hat and spurs — drives his pickup along a rural highway, pointing out all the repairs where smuggling vehicles plowed through his fences.

"A lot of times they come and hit these gates," he says, motioning to a mangled metal gate. "You can see it's been knocked down a bunch."

In its 130 years of existence, the Jones Ranch has weathered hurricanes and droughts, fever ticks and screwworms, and lots of migrant traffic. But he says he's never seen so much human smuggling in the region. Jones estimates they've spent more than $30,000 just since January fixing dozens of breaks in their fences.

Undocumented migrants from Mexico and Central America trekking on foot and packed into vehicles are heading north through South Texas in ever greater numbers. Some are dying along the way in the harsh, arid terrain.

US President Joe Biden to 'propose hiking tax on rich'



US President Joe Biden is reportedly set to propose a tax hike on the wealthiest Americans.

The proposal would raise the top marginal rate and increase taxes on investment gains for the rich.

The tax rise would help pay for childcare and education, but would not be used for healthcare, according to reports.

The news triggered a selloff on Wall Street, with major indexes slipping during Thursday's trading session.


The White House said the American Family Plan, which Mr Biden is expected to lay out in full next week, will not affect any family earning less than $400,000 a year.

"His view is that that should be on the backs... of the wealthiest Americans who can afford it and corporations and businesses who can afford it," said White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

The proposal would increase the top marginal income tax rate to 39.6% from 37%, according to the New York Times and Bloomberg.
