All is well with in the progressive utopia of NYC, where you can peacefully steal from a shop and not get sent to jail..

Democrats in NYC are rapidly going to find themselves short on taxpayers as any person with a brain bails on the city and moves to Florida.

When you're ready to have an honest conversation about the war on drugs' impact on communities of colour; law enforcement's focus on lower income and urban areas; incarceration-for-profit breaking up family units; single income families and the opportunities they miss; and how black men have always felt some of the worst of racism because 'protect muh white women from the black man', give me a shout, konfab.
This is an honest conversation, I asked you a simple question, which I will repeat: If men are arrested more than woman, does it mean the system is systematically sexist against men?

No.

There's a gender gap in crime and, I'm sure you'll be shocked to learn, men commit more of 'em.

Oh, so men commit more crime, therefore they are arrested more?

Fascinating.
I knew where you were going from the start, so I'll just re-post this for ya...

Yes it is, and congratulations... You're so close to understanding systemic racism.
People who drink diet drinks have a higher incidence of strokes. Not because diet drinks cause strokes, but because people at risk of strokes often switch to diet drinks as a lifestyle intervention.

Only if their gender is a primary reason why they are arrested more than women, and they are mostly arrested by women under a system primarily and historically controlled by women. Then your analogy might have a point. Otherwise, no.

And just like that men and women are different and gender is no longer a spectrum when it suits the narrative

Hope they can pull this off...

As GOP blocks Medicaid coverage for 1 million Texans, Democrats pitch a workaround

Texas Democrats have tried for years to convince Republican state leaders to increase access to Medicaid. Now they think they have found a way to do it with or without their help.

U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett and lawmakers from 11 other GOP-led states introduced a measure this week that would give money directly to local governments that want to provide coverage for hundreds of thousands of low-income Texans who currently fall into what is known as the “coverage gap.”

The Cover Outstanding Vulnerable Expansion-eligible Residents (COVER) Now Act would allow counties to apply for the money directly with the federal government, and it would prohibit state leaders from retaliating against them if they do.

If you want an honest answer to your question you need to be prepared to get into the data and the history. Yes, blacks commit more crime due to poverty, but even controlling for that, the data show that police disproportionately target them as a group. It's undeniable. Racial bias is ingrained at every level of the police forces.

Overall, Feldman’s research confirms what many already know about criminal justice and specifically police killings in the US. There are large class disparities in police killings, both overall and within each racial group. Likewise, there are large racial disparities in police killings, both overall and within each class group.

BS, all you do is sealioning. All day every day. It is so transparent and obvious. You're not even putting any subtlety or effort into it.
