You just looking for any old controversial headline to post or is there a point.
Clearly they have made guns an idol rather than just a tool for protection. I don't have an issue with a few members carrying in church, it has saved lives in the past but it shouldn't become an obsession that takes away from the reason you are in church.

Individuals are hardly going to admit that they prefer unemployment benefits to a pollster since there is a large degree of social shaming involved in doing that. Not your best effort (note: I can't read the article because it is subscriber locked).

Note Germany is also facing labour shortages despite better wages for low-skilled workers in general than the US:

I don't see "lack of childcare" mentioned enough here. Not many parents are willing to leave their kids home alone.

Nah, i don't really wonder about either of these things. Gaetz is just using the trump playbook of 'say crazy stuff to get attention'. Does he says these things without thought or concern as to whether 'fringe' elements will take his statements literally, or is this more along the lines of the 'who will rid me of this meddlesome priest' scenario? I wouldn't put either past him.

Idiot politician says something dumb --> dumb supporter does something dumb --> people accuse idiot politician of being responsible --> idiot politician defense: 'no reasonable person would have taken me literally' --> rinse/repeat
