You don't think equating MAGA and Trump supporters to extremists and telling the country that they are a threat is going to incite people to be violent against them?
Now that would be fun. Germany in the 1930s.

You don't think equating the entire LGBTQ group of people to groomers is going to incite people to be violent against them?

Emjay knows Republicans constantly incite violence against their political targets but she's desperate to whatabout with Shannon Brandt because somehow that makes Democrats and Republicans jUSt aS BaD. It's the only game she can play.

Weird how you cannot stick to your own definition of incitement.

It isn't a job for vigilante justice.

Except it happened, and it is not a "whatabout".

No. Democrats are worse than Republicans. Because Democrats think their virtue absolves them of doing exactly what they purport to be against. You cry about De Santis being racist for flying a handful of "asylum seekers" to one of the most richest areas in the USA, but you are mum on Biden dropping off plane loads of "asylum seekers" in other parts of the country.

No standards. It's a fact.

What's "my definition" of incitement?
You realise you're trying to reason with MAGA's right? They lost touch with reality a long time ago. Even worse when you consider these ones are not even in the US. You'd need normal Republican mentality to have a discussion that makes any sense.

He's not inciting violence. He's actually extremely careful in his speech to not overgeneralize to all conservatives, and to call for unity and an end to violence. He says it constantly and you're twisting his words if you say that anything in his speech could be construed as a justification for political violence.

Now Trump on the other hand - where to even start? Oh well here I guess:

As for what measures are acceptable against extremists - firstly voting against anyone who supports the current GOP is very acceptable. If they go too far and do things like say attacking the capitol building, then they should be tried and convicted. It isn't a job for vigilante justice.
I love how all the things you list are less inciteful than what Biden said.

Those double standards at it again... Luckily the hypocrites will lose a lot of power come November.

Funnily enough that equating was done by people on the left themselves.
It simply started as say no to groomers and no mention of sexuality was made.
This resulted in "How dare you attack LGBTQ?!", most likely attributable to the incorrect reading/framing of the parental rights bill.
Which resulted in normal people thinking wth? What happened to normal groomers?

Ironically the group GaysAgainstGroomers, which includes trans members, were recently banned off of most major platforms as well as had their banking services frozen for allegedly being "anti-trans". Guess that reinforces that one has to be "pro grooming" if part of the LGBTQ movement?

I've seen those, although I've seen Republicans against Trump, Ex-Gay movement and Jews for Jesus too. There are absolutely groomers and pedos in homosexual/trans circles, but there are honestly pedos everywhere. The groomer slur/insult picked up when it was parroted over and over again.

It's no different to saying some conservatives are violent - there are plenty of violent democrats too.

Which is my point.
The groomers remarks were not aimed at a specific demographic, but others made it that way. Likely the shield mentality of using marginalized groups to deflect criticism. We see the same tactic being used when a bad show is critiqued that happens to have some of these groups y the way.

It's become a double entendre with it's original meaning and the way others have taken ownership of its implication.
This makes it humourous despite being a serious topic and is why people are running with it as a kinda meme.

"We go back a long way. She was 12, I was 30." Joe Biden
"But anyway, this woman helped me get an awful lot done.”
Coincidently at that time scratch and sniff was quit popular.

The audience of teachers and union members laughed and cheered at the bawdy remark.
And one wonders why people are concerned about the education system.
