Tsunami, Wave, Trickle. The GOP should be panicking. They need to pivot and do it soon and I don't think Trump nor DeSantis is the answer. Imho - they need to go back to simple, boring, consistent.
Its split pretty evenly, so both sides are crap and have work to do.

If youre expecting to have a 30-seat minority and lose the Senate, and you end up saving the Senate and barely behind on the House, it's a huge win.
Sure.

Right now though there is not much difference between them. Both sides are crap and both sides need to rethink their policies.

So Jon Ralston, the guru of Nevada politics, makes predictions based on the early vote totals, which represent a substantial proportion of the total vote in Nevada.

However, this year, it looks like he is going to the 'politics of vibes' route, rather than a proper examination of the data because Dems are doing so badly in the early vote. I mean, this prediction is based off nothing at all...

This one? Where he questioned th veracity of the guru of Nevada politics?

Note that Decision Desk and NBC has called AZ-06 for the Republican, however. But people seem to rely on AP the most, who do seem to be the most conservative when calling a race.

WA03 is Dem

The Freedom Caucus is going to have significant influence in the House going forward...sort of like Manchin with the Dems when the Senate was 50/50.

It’s even up in the air whether McCarthy will stay on as speaker. And they can forget about all the impeachment theatrics they had planned.

Colorado-03 will only be called next Thursday, although even that has an * as an automatic recount will proceed if the gap is 0.5 percentage points or less. Military ballots will probably lean towards Boebert, not sure about provisional ballots.

Don't you think they will extract heavy concessions from him? FC unlikely to put up their own candidate as that would just be silly. But I am worried they will support all these asinine investigations that no-one really cares about except for a small niche of fanatics.

I think Boebert is pretty safe by now. There’s not much on the horizon to take away her lead.

Simple and boring isn’t gonna win them votes. It’s hard to know where they’re going to get votes from at this point. Remember Trump in 2020 actually had more votes than any other candidate in history besides Biden. He’s still hugely popular. republicans would be pretty happy if he’d be convicted because it would save them the trouble of turning on him themselves.

Well batsh11t crazy isn’t going to either. So go with classic Republican and perhaps they win some more votes.
