Would like to see an example of that SM. Even something like "We are going to go there and take back our country!" still doesn't mean much besides protesting. People are free to project their meaning onto others all the want.
Simple facts is that it was never planned as such and that's the end of it.

Compare J6 with the planned protest against Trump at the WH that resulted in a church getting burned, 60 agents injured and Trump being escorted into the bunker for security reasons yet none of those "fine people" faced any repercussions. In fact they were supported.
Or what about the protests that turned violent during his inauguration? Was that also an attempted insurrection? Those fine people actually won a lawsuit for being arrested. "Massive injustices" like being locked up for a whole16 hours

Again the lack of concern over the treatment ("torture" of you believe some accounts) of those arrested should be the bigger news item. How long have some of them now gone without a proper trial, subjected to solitary confinement or house arrest?
I guess people don't care about it if those people are seen as some "evil MAGA crowd".

The double standard has reached beyond comical levels.

Do I have to say it again?

The only standards they have are that they have none.

The entire thing is so hypocritical and so in your face, I cannot believe people still push the main stream narrative. This is why there cannot be any rational discourse in politics because it will never really be about justice, morals, service or just doing what's right. Someone who used to be very active in these threads (a "Progressive", of course) once told me he would never meet his opponents half way. What more needs to be said?

Exactly those charges were a joke. You have no idea what they put them through or what kind of plea deals they had to capitulate to. Brandon Straka had a similar experience.
But sure believe that the government are the good guys.

So no it wasn't an insurrection unless you live in a fairy tale where 4 people can overthrow a modern government by squatting in capitol hill

One can be progressive and still maintain consistent standards.
I mean look at Jimmy Dore. Even though I don't agree with him on many subjects he remains a progressive despite what some retarded people claim because he doesn't toe the imaginary line. Then you get fake progressives like Bernie how sold out almost completely.

Wasn't his orders, but sure. I bet they took loads of selfies inside there until a trigger happy police officer murdered a woman.
They also smeared their faeces all over the place.
Deserved to be tortured by being forcefully vaccinated. That is a worse act of their rights being violated than McCain having his hands broken in the Hanoi Hotel.

Show me one Progressive/Liberal here that displays any sort of standard moral position.

And I can think of only two Progressives/Liberals who seem to have any sort of standard: Jimmy Dore, like you said, and Aaron Mate. I would have said Sam Harris not too long ago, but even he has gone so far off the reservation I wonder how people listen to him anymore.

Politics has become infected with gamesmanship and one-upmanship where we cannot have rational conversation at any level any longer. It is completely and utterly futile.

You truly are a government bukkake fanatic...
Perhaps one day you'll see the light?

Yes, I'll one day bend the knee at the altar of the golden toilet and come dressed in my kilt and use Flynn as my bodyguard.

If they were a joke he shouldn't have pled guilty. And now he's a Very Sorry Boy

You clearly don't know how they force plea deals...

Edit : As a progressive I'd assume you'd be aware of this.

I guess I was correct about not caring depending on the political leanings of those charged?

He'll be posting Lincoln project any minute now

Too late. As much I find Lincoln Project utterly fascinating (she says with much sarcasm), he made his way to my ignore list already.
