So anyone under 30 years of age should be allowed to marry a kid under the age of 16 (even 10 year olds are game, right?), but a man dressed in woman's clothing should not be allowed to read a children's book in front of a class of school kids?
Older than 16 are legal according to law hence the cut-off. If a 14-15 year old wants to marry her 17 or 18 year old BF for example that's her choice.
30 is just a thumb sucked value to make the difference pronounced enough.

And yes, drag-queens sexualising in front of actual children is worse than people that decide to marry. Don't pretend it's just innocent book reading.
Why are you so eager to defend grooming?

You sound mentally ill. Have you considered the fact that reading a children's book to a class of kids does not give anyone a "sexual kick" and that you're projecting your own twisted sexual insecurities into the situation?

It does in fact give them a kick. Which is part of the reason they act that way.

Also nope. Thats why these marriage requires parental consent.

Wrong. You're confusing age of consent with marriage. Child marriage up to age 14 or 15 is legal in 5 states, and up to age zero is legal in 11 states.

Like I said, from the limited available data, between 2000 and 2018 there were at least 60,000 marriages that would otherwise be considered a sex crime. Including at least 5 marriages to 10 year olds, 1 to an 11 year old, 14 to 12 year olds, 78 to 13 year olds, 1223 to 14 year olds and 8199 to 15 year olds.

WFT are you on about "sexualizing"? What do you mean by that? How is reading a children's book in front of a class of students at school "sexualizing"?

I didn’t actually calculate, but it seems like you are struggling to get 10k? Where is the other 50k?

Nobody is marrying babies.

Legal age of consent is not the same as legal age to marry without parental consent. Why are you defending child marriage anyway?

Same reason he defends putting guns in the hands of crazy people, defends banning books and defends insurrectionists storming capitol buildings..

Why would anyone get married?
I see you're on a crusade again. My criticism was the conflation of age of consent and legal age of marriage especially with respect of consent reforms/Romeo&Juliet laws which don't apply to marriage.

You are just talking BS.

If there is nothing wrong with 16 year olds having sex there is most certainly nothing wrong with them getting married first, it is actually better.
