Older than 16 are legal according to law hence the cut-off. If a 14-15 year old wants to marry her 17 or 18 year old BF for example that's her choice.So anyone under 30 years of age should be allowed to marry a kid under the age of 16 (even 10 year olds are game, right?), but a man dressed in woman's clothing should not be allowed to read a children's book in front of a class of school kids?
30 is just a thumb sucked value to make the difference pronounced enough.
And yes, drag-queens sexualising in front of actual children is worse than people that decide to marry. Don't pretend it's just innocent book reading.
