This has come a long way. Bannon and his Traditionalism (Troglodytism?) bromance with Dugin. Russian interference in the 2016 election (fact). Tucker Carlson(no surprise where he ended up), probably Alex Jones. probably Rupert Murdoch and plenty at Fox News. Probably many prominent Republicans, including basically all MAGAs (often just pennies and pounds). These punks. And of course Trump himself. And so, so many of the others involved with him. As pundits, as integral members of his political campaigns, and even members of his administration, or planned future members of his administration.

They've all been saying pretty much the exact same things all this time. Same target audience. Pushing the same ideological buttons. Demonizing the same people and institutions. i.e. Same story, same playbook. The same idiots keep falling for it... All. The. Way.

And remember... They've very oftentimes pushed the notion that the FBI should be disbanded. That the FBI is the enemy.

Huge red flag.

Can you even imagine? The CIA is already, by law, predominantly faced outwards. It can only by law monitor members of the US public who have already been credibly linked to espionage against the US. Otherwise only foreign citizens and governments, and their agents. The Secret Service only protects high profile politicians, and investigates threats to the economic security of the US. The FBI is a crucial line of defense for the US public. Without it the US could be gutted from within. Not that it would ever just happen just like that I think. Martial law would probably (normally) be declared before that kind of thing credibly even got out of the starting block. On the other hand - Maybe not with somebody like Trump at the helm...

I hope these actions are just the beginning. Certain types of people need to sweat a bit. And think twice in the future. I suspect the smackdown is only just starting. I suspect investigators have been playing their cards close, and building it up for a bit. Often useful to first keep targets relaxed and confident, then get them panicking and scurrying about.

I've noticed that Trump seems very eager to paint a picture of plausible deniability through his statements recently. Seems very eager to distance himself from certain people and groups. Hehe... Probably has some notion of the type of heat that's building up around him.

Trump: Well, I would do that and we're sitting down, you know, I was, somebody, we had Marco Rubio and my daughter, Ivanka… But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about that because the child care is, child care couldn't, you know, there's something you have to have it in this country, you have to have it... I want to stay with child care… So we'll take care of it. Thank you
