How so?What a weird false equivalence. You're really stretching
How so?
The claim was made by him and supported by you. The idea behind banning abortion, no fault divorce etc is to control women. You do not support this and gave examples of possible abusive.
Yet, the idea of males, claiming to be female, thus having access to female restrooms and other spaces, 1. has no potential for abuse and 2. does not infringe on women's rights or safety.
How was I possibly going to get one of you to make my point for me without just a tiny bit of bait. Thank you for pointing out the syncretism though. The point of my post. Would be great if we could have more arguments in good faith. He probably knows how to spell it at least..

But you are right in one respect, lots of Vodou believers are also Christian.
Someone better not tell Tucker about what Jewish used to do in the old days. Calling it witchcraft is pretty funny.
There was a TV piece a little while ago about the immigrants in Springfield, and the local pastors were saying how happy they were that they were filling up their churches again. I know, terrifying right hide yo labradoodles

I think you're still missing the point. Using Christianity as an argument is disingenuous. The left loves dunking on religion, until it suits them. The dog eating "argument" isn't in good faith from the outset.

(CNN) — Mark Robinson, the controversial and socially conservative Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, made a series of inflammatory comments on a pornography website’s message board more than a decade ago, in which he referred to himself as a “black NAZI!” and expressed support for reinstating slavery, a CNN KFile investigation found.
Despite a recent history of anti-transgender rhetoric, Robinson said he enjoyed watching transgender pornography, a review of archived messages found in which he also referred to himself as a “perv.”
The comments, which Robinson denies making, predate his entry into politics and current stint as North Carolina’s lieutenant governor. They were made under a username that CNN was able to identify as Robinson by matching a litany of biographical details and a shared email address between the two.
Many of Robinson’s comments were gratuitously sexual and lewd in nature. They were made between 2008 and 2012 on “Nude Africa,” a pornographic website that includes a message board. The comments were made under the username minisoldr, a moniker Robinson used frequently online.
Okay. As briefly as possible. There are two arguments here:It's not disingenuous because the point is the Haitians did nothing. They are peaceful law abiding hard working lawful legal immigrants who attend church. There's literally no reason to attack them apart from bald racism
Okay. As briefly as possible. There are two arguments here:
1. The Haitians did nothing wrong. Yes or no. Can be argued on provision on proof of wrongdoing (would have to be widespread, repetitive and pervasive).
2. The Haitians can't do anything wrong, because they're Christians and go to church. This a fallacious argument used by the feeble minded. ( I tend to watch the religious more closely, especially around my kids.)
Clear enough distinction? @tetrasect's argument can not be made in good faith if it's fallacious. The difference between argument and just slinging sht and seeing what sticks.
Sorry for your feels. Only gaslighting here is using a single line argument about Haitians being Christians, in bad faith. No argument construction. It's was already there. Someone just needed to spot it.Sorry I feel like I'm being gaslighted and i don't **** with that. There is no dog eating and constructing a whole argument about how we can't say it's impossible because we don't understand the nuances of Haitian voodoo is a total house of cards.
I'm amazed that you cannot see the obvious gap in logic here.Firstly i did support the claim that it's to control women. I cited evidence which is more than i can say for you making these absurd lazy equivalences.
But the basic argument for making abortion legal is that women should have the right to choose what to do with their own bodies. It's none of your business if a woman doesn't want to bear a child that they conceived either accidentally or through force.
And i guess the same argument goes for trans women and female "spaces". It's not really any of your business. People who identify as women can and do live as women. The idea that women's safety could be at risk is entirely an unsupported fear driven narrative and you should probably chill out on the stonetoss comics

Lefties tie themselves in knots about the same thing in SA all the time. Have a look at religious anthropology when you have some spare time. Fascinating stuff.
What horror. Can she be disqualified from Presidential race for this criminal offence?
