And, folks — (applause) — let me close with what I’ve long said: America is a nation that can be defined in a single word. I was in the foothi- — foot- — excuse me, in the foothills of the Himalayas with Xi Jinping, traveling with him.
I was in the foothi- — foot- — excuse me, in the foothills of the Himalayas with Xi Jinping, traveling with him. (Inaudible) traveled 17,000 miles when I was Vice President at the time. I don’t know that for a fact.
I guess the 17000 miles was a guessHe doesn't seem very sure about it,
In what way was Daley similar?Wait, because Democrats never have powerful leaders? Have you never heard of people like Richard M. Daley or JFK? I don't know what you are smoking down in New Zealand (perhaps nothing) but it's got to be strong if you think Dems don't have cult like leaders.
In what way was Daley similar?
Okay, so you see similarities in the influence they both play(ed) in their respective political machines. What does that have to do with the modern GOP being virtually indistinguishable from a cult? How was Daley similar because what you described isn't that.He was a Democratic powerbroker (like De Santis is in Florida). If you were on the wrong side of Daley, it was extremely unlikely you would have got very far in Chicago or Illinois politics. You don't run for SIX (!) terms as Chicago mayor without having significant political leverage and patronage.
I still don't know what the single word is that defines Yanskville
Unless you're suggesting it's "foothills"?![]()

And we were sitting alone. I had an interpreter and he had an interpreter. And he looked at me. In all seriousness, he said, “Can you define America for me?” And I said what many of you heard me say for a long time. I said, “Yes, I can, in one word: possibilities.” (Applause.) “Possibilities.” That, in America, everyone should be able to go as far as their hard work and God-given talent will take them. And possibilities. We’re the only ones. That’s why we’re viewed as the “ugly Americans”: We think anything is possible.
I love how Trump who is a doofus can be a literal genius in comparison to the "most popular president in history".... Anyone that voted for Biden is just a stupid as anyone that votes ANC.... no other term for it they just stupid.
Can't have an the Armed Forces as a bunch of soy boys...
