Use an ATM stamped statement as proof of residence??

I used a banked stamped statement to renew my car license last year(proof of residence) Has anyone successfully used an ATM stamped statement as proof of residence when renewing their car license?

It worked for me at Midrand for my drivers licence. So I'm sure it should be ok.

I thought he was initially talking about one thing. ATM stamped v bank stamped. Still the bank, but now the machine stamped it? But it will be from the bank anyways.

But there's no visual difference is there?

Ya I want to use an ATM stamped statement to renew the car license this year. Technically it is issued by the bank. Its just stamped by the ATM instead of the teller. Getting the statement inside the bank is more expensive.

It is accepted. That is the only type I use (ATM stamped) and it has never been refused.

I have never been asked for proof of residence at the Post Office.

In the end I could use the ATM stamped statement to renew the car lisence, but not use the statement to change my address. Had to use utilities statement.
