USENET Searching...

www.usenext.com has a much better search engine, unlimited mode and a 3 gig test account as well at a reasonable price.

Another vote for easynews - though if I see something interesting on vcdquality.com I can click on the newzbin search link from there to check for the availability.

http://www.usenetlive.com is a news group site..
which u can add in your e-mail client. your ISP should a have a news group server for u.. or u can uses theses ones news.saix.net , news.mweb.co.za and so forth..

as for http://www.usenext.com/ which is just another p2p d/l prog like e-mule , kazarra , e-donkey. limewire and so forth.
(not sure this never want 2 install becuase prob has chance on installing some nice ad-ware and spy-ware on to pc correct if wrong)

as for http://www.newzbin.com/ not sure on that one, looks like 2 that it is taken from newsgroups also..

The local usenet servers - with the exception of IS - are utter rubbish. Poor retention.

I've used usenext since before I got ADSL and it is definitely NOT a P2P service. It works with port 119 on your PC which is normally rerserved for newsgroups. I never found any adware, spyware or virii on it. I have a 20 gig per month account with them for the last 12 months with no problems. The newsgroups are the same as for other usenet clients and the charge is very reasonable with an average download speed of 104kb/s. The download wizard in the usenext client is the best of all the usenet clients I used (To date 8 including GigaNews, Easynews, etc)

!Why don't you try their free 3 gig test account and become converted!
