Sign up with GoogleI am not sure if this has been asked on the forum before but suppose I have no data on my Vodacom sim then I put an MTN sim maybe until monthend am I breaking the law? Can the folks at Vodacom know that I used a different SIM? Does that void my warrant?

It's not against the law but it will void your warranty.

It won't even void his warranty, but your insurance (if you took it with VC when you got the phone) won't cover you.

Interesting. I've always been told by VC staff that my warranty will be void when using another sim. Nice to know it's not true.
