I've set up my N95 (MTN contract) to connect to internet ... but seemingly have to use a Vodscom connection ...

Has anyone noticed that, using the latest version of Nokia PC Suite, and in the "One Touch Access" set-up, MTN South Africa is not listed as an option (for the provider) in the drop down menu in setup?

MTN Nigeria is there, and Vodacom South Africa is there, but no MTN SA :(

So I use the Vodacom setting ... does this mean I connect via VC, instead of my own provider, MTN? And by so doing, do I incur higher data costs?

I very much doubt it. As far as I know, they both use the same APN (internet) so you should be safe. There's no way you will be able to connect to Vodacom with an MTN SIM card.

Yes I've noticed that as well :( I didn't know you could use the Vodacom settings, I entered the settings manually though I can't remember them right now. I have them at home
