Using Phone to connect to Wifi, but needs ADSL User name and Pass?

Good day..

i have a phone that can connect to a wifi, but the thing is now, at home I need the ADSL User name and Pass, but the thing is.. I dont' know how to add that to the connection.. if you know what I mean...

Because I can't seem to go on the internet even when I'm connected to the router at home..

Has anyone solves this before? If so, please help..

You need to let the router deal with the adsl connection because afaik the phone can't handle pppoe itself.

setup the adsl/router via a pc. Add wifi password.

Search for avail wifi on your cell. Select your wifi router. Add your wifi password you set up......

Thought so, but how does the router deal with the conenction? Because It's not working with my phone..

Well my router is set up.. Like I can use it with my PC.. but not with my phone.. (IF that is the setup you're refering to.. )

have you set up wifi with a password(key), for you own protection, must be done on your pc....

Yeah my Router already has a WPA pass, but the thing is.. it's needs other log-ins for my Telkom user.. that which I do not know how to setup..

Your router needs to be connected to the internet ( you should see that on a PC for example...

You should have a wifi enabled router
Your router should have wifi turned on
Your router should have a wifi password

search for the wifi network on your cell.
enter the wifi password.
now you should be able to connect

Your router is using bridged mode. You need to set it up using routed mode. That way your router connects to the net and you connect to the router. You need to log onto the router using a pc and insert your isp details on the routers "interface."
