Its a new one, this is the breakdown they gave me.

Cash price R141100.00
Less Discount R11288.00
Total R129812.00

Number plates R513.00
On the road Admin R3420.00
Smash and grab R2850.00
License R950.00
Warranty R3890.00
Bodyguard R3495.00

Total R144930.00
Less deposit R20000.00
Principal debt R124930.00

Crazy all these amounts they come up with. Still want to question the "on the road admin", includes pre-inspection (why? its new), petrol, carpets, and 'admin'.

With regards to insurance, the best I got was with discovery for R940p/m

I did think of demo's and used, but I guess its the fact of driving an old car for about 10 years thats swayed me from that. Which is the wrong attitude to have I suppose...

Lol at not including license and plates in on the road. And why are you paying for a warranty on a new car?

On the road fees are pure profit for them, everyone knows that. Tell them you refuse to pay it. Tell them you will register it yourself if you have to, to save R3420.
