Science is a market service.
Which means it's the consumer's responsibility to decide whether it's worth the paper it's printed on. His ass is on the line, not some government bureaucrat who has given it a rubber stamp.
It is after all a matter of personal health, at the end of the day, right?
Just curious.... Two people claiming to be experts in science, tell you your life depends on their (conflicting) data.Right. Although I was just reading this and I’m buggered if I understand why people would think they are qualified to take the risk. There is no way back from learning the hard way.

How do you, personally, go about choosing which one to trust?
You think there aren't experts on both sides?50/50. Flip a coin.
Although what that has to do with vaccines or covid I’ve no idea.
and the media is just on one sideYou think there aren't experts on both sides?

Okay, so you are going with the pure democracy argument. Majority rules. Not a 50/50 split, far from it. The world wide scientific consensus and advice was to get vaccinated, and the results of that were overwhelmingly positive when they reduced deaths drastically.
Compare that to the misinformation, misunderstanding and downright lies from the people against the vaccine and you think it’s a close call to decide? Seriously?
What are the media suppressing now? Alt-scientists have the same access to science publications as regular scientists.and the media is just on one side

Have I got that right?

I am no medical expert, by any stretch of any imagination but I can tell you, these vaccinations have harmed me.
I am just tired of fighting, so letting it slide, if I die tomorrow then its my time.
But not fun living with the permanent side effects.
Like thisFunny thing is, when a news site reports something that they do agree with they’ll splash it all over the place.
Okay. Well let's see if I'm struggling with it.I think the word you are struggling with is concensus.
You realise censorship is not only silencing completely, right.Like this

You realise censorship is not only silencing completely, right.
It includes silencing on particular views.
Judging by the way you structure a sentence, Im assuming you are anti-vax.Im neither for or against getting the vax.im for minding your own business..the side effect i have noticed from vaxed people is their raised entitlement to belittle anyone who doesn't share their views
