Valorant South Africa servers announced

Jirrr if only we can get League servers as well! Atleast this gives me a reason to play Valorant now.

South Africa getting Valorant servers

Riot Games has partnered with Carry1st to launch local Valorant servers in South Africa, which will open on 31 August 2023.

The move should significantly improve latency for South African players, and Carry1st will run campaigns to engage with Valorant players in various cities in the country.

Hopefully, the servers crash on the first day. Would be great to show that we have the capability to overload their servers.

Might see them think about implementing League servers in the longer run too.

If we show we can fill servers, it will show that there's a market to be tapped into here, which has been previously ignored.

I'm going to get a lot of flak for this but Valorant is a lot more sensitive to latency than League. League is more than playable at 160ms, Valorant is borderline unplayable at that.

Honestly have to disagree.. not throwing flak your way, I have been playing nothing but valorant with the little free time I do get.. I do okay in most matches.. have gotten a few aces in my time too..

Granted, I don't dare play ranked at all, because that would just be a disaster..

Played some DM and swift, and I'm loving this game more on low ping.

Can't queue ranked on my main just yet so I'll play on my smurf in the mean time

Let's go boys..!!!!!

I am going to be doing very little work today.. like in, very little....
