JOHANNESBURG - Police have confirmed a process was now under way to track down the person accused of assaulting a mother and her four-month-old baby during an alleged racist altercation.

The police's Gertrude Makhale said they had managed to trace the car registration used by the alleged attacker and another person who sped off after the assault at Vaal Mall on Monday. The car has been tracked to Komatipoort in Mpumalanga and police were now trying to get CCTV footage from the mall to piece together what happened.

So I immediately call bullshit on pepperspray. I wasn't there so who knows the girl might have chucked water in her face or something non lethal or nothing at all.

But to claim it was pepperspray and there is no word of concern about the baby just made me laugh.

Yet another story I would love to know what really happened, best case there is no CCTV and everyone will just believe the story of the black damsel in distress with a baby.

All true but so far we have a she said , she did, situation. I find it hilarious how fast these cops are acting on the story of just one chick with her tit in the mouth of her baby.

I know of actual rape cases who havn't gotten attention and police tracking down assailants this quickly.

I guess the random white girl is already guilty just because someone said something.
