You are trying too hard, not like finding out what province and address the car is registered to is the most difficult thing.

There are many incidents where swift progress is made by the police and arrests are made within hours, I don't see anything unusual here and don't even see all the effort of "using every tool at their disposal" that you are claiming.

So what should the police have done in this instance? Do their job? Not do their job? Solve a million other crimes and THEN attend to this crime?

Did you ever wonder that perhaps the woman was easy to track as she wasn't driving a stolen vehicle, has bonds/loans, was easily identifiable, etc?

It made it to the media and the woman was most likely a local and easily identified. I haven't read about any reward in attempting to identify the woman.

Was there a racist angle to this one? happened on a Friday, by monday the quadbiker was arrested and had to appear in court in court the next day, not swift enough for you?

1.) How do you know they don't? Or do you get your monthly reports via newspaper?

2.) You said you wanted them to treat all cases equally, you have no proof that they have treated them any different. It is implied from various posts that the police are not being praised, they are being criticised for putting effort into this case. Read the thread again.

We have daily riots in this country for one thing. What do the cops do in those situations where the perps are right in front of them? "Easy to identify". Lol

That is exactly the issue with policing from what we can observe. Cops seem to throw resources behind crimes/potential crimes that have the least amount of risk associated to them. The whole point of having police is to handle the dangerous crimes first and foremost and if they have a grip on that then they can focus on the less dangerous crimes.

Obviously for the cops to handle protest violence is higher risk to them than to run after racists so they seem to pick the racist chasing angle because it will end in safe reporting about how well the police is working the streets.

Makes me wonder if a cop in a mall will rather run after someone who stole a beer vs cellphone shop getting robbed by gun. Pretty sure they will put all their resources behind the stolen beer first.

Police flag 'discrepancies' with Vaal Mall pepper spray attack footage

Vanderbijlpark police are now scrutinising CCTV footage obtained after a mother and her four-month-old baby boy were pepper-sprayed during a racist incident involving a parking spot at the Vaal Mall.
Investigators have called on anyone who witnessed last week’s incident to come forward with more details of the attacker who called Itumeleng Tsoeu - who was breastfeeding her son - a baboon.
The woman discharged pepper spray into their car.
The police’s Gertrude Makhale said that the investigating officer working on the common assault case managed to retrieve the CCTV footage of the incident but there was a problem.
"We have the footage but there are several discrepancies with it."
Makhale said that the investigating officer would on Monday morning turn to the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court for guidance on the matter.
