I might have missed the article/notice/memo, but since when does an additionally purchased data bundle expire in 30 days instead of the end of the following month? And if this is correct, which data bundle will be used up first in the new month - the contract data or the previous month's purchased data?

It has been for a while. There was a price drop and the ones with the lower prices had the 30 day expiration. The more expensive ones had the old rule of expiring the end of the following month. The ones with the higher prices and longer expiry have now been removed from my system I see as apposed to a while ago that we had both on there.

Thanks Ockie. I purchased yesterday. The bundle expires 13 Nov (according to the mobile app). Come the 1st of Nov, would the contract data be used immediately or will the remainder of the bundle I purchased yesterday be used up first before Nov's contract data is being used?

The new bundle gets used first. So if you have data left from the previous month, first the new bundle of the new month will be used and then the old bundle. VodacomData, confirm please?
