Vegan dog food.

Omnivores used loosely. Dogs do not get the right nutrition out of a plant based only diet. Dogs can get some nutrition from plants but that is only for short periods if they cannot get any sort of animal meat.

There is no way in hell that any dog would have the same quality life on a complete plant based diet compared to a meat based/balanced based diet.

Well a complete plant based diet would make it a herbivore.

But yes, dogs can survive on a mixture of non-meat stuff and meat based stuff. That being said, if I were to ever have a Pupper, only rump steak would be on the menu

Not that I think this vegetarian stuff is a good idea...just wonder how many outraged people in here feed their dogs those dry pellets that are probably even more nutritionally barren than this vegan stuff.

Some do with the odd scrap of meat every now & then. Not sure what that random piece of meat is contributing nutritionally to a dog other than just a a bit of protein that in the end makes it not much different from a vegetarian dog food.

Yikes.

Those pellets make up only about 30% of an average meal for our hounds.
