Who do you tell that you've changed postal address in order to get your vehicle registration renewal correctly delivered and how do you tell them?

The licensing department. You need to go in and spent about 2 hours to do the change. And if it is a change of physical address as well, please remember all the normal FICA proof will be necessary.

Depends where you go, theer should be forms available before having to queue.....and....if you wait for the licence renewal, all you have to do is fill in the new address on that piece of paper.

Changed my postal address last month in Pretoria CBD. Took about 2 hours waiting and 2 minutes being served.

Don't do anything - wait till around three weeks before its due, fill in the form, give them your new details, problem solved.

u will get fined if you dont change your plates within 6 months of moving to a new place. not sure if that law has changed. will only happen if the same cop keeps pulling you over obviously.

How they going to know you moved? I was in Jhb for over a year and then came back....

oh my bad. as for the cop finding out, my buddie told them the truth. he was a good christian.

He must of actually told them - cause I've never been asked where I live when being pulled over

yeah he did. he passed this cop everyday for a while. the cop pulled him over one day and he said he moved there a few months ago. not sure what the fine amount was though.
