Very Annoying Problem with my Samsung Smart TV

I have googled this problem but just not coming up with any answers. I have a Samsung series 7 47 inch smart TV which is connected to a soundbar just lately while you are watching it mutes itself (then the microphone shows on the screen) at that point the remote freezes so you can't do anything. I have to turn the TV off for about 20 minutes (power out) before it resets itself note this only happens on the TV channel and if I watch via media box it doesn't happen (soundbar is connected via HDMI) - Any suggestions please this is so annoying and frustrating

I have checked there is no firmware update & the software is up to date on the TV

Which soundbar? I'm using the Samsung HW-M450 connected via optical & with the USB cable connected; I've never had any issues with audio, but I mostly use the TV for PS4, Netflix & streaming from my PC
