MTN has the most LTE coverage than ANY other provicer in SA.... I think its very interesting cause MTN has so much coverage here in Richards bay and Empangeni even in rural area's.... Some Townships here even have MTN LTE....
I'm actually shocked. I can confirm LTE in the following place in and around Richards Bay and Empangeni.
Some areas covered in Richards bay is Aquadene,Brackenham,Richards Bay CBD, Alton CBD, Meer en See, Veld en Vlei, Veld en Vlei ext, Arboretum, Ricardia and then the R34 at the Esikhaweni turn off..... Yeah there is no houses there not sure why they decided to put LTE there but its blazing fast @ 40Mbps + down and 12 Mbps up.......
Some areas covered in Empangeni is Kuleka/Empangeni rail, Grantham Park, Empangeni CBD
Newest sites I noticed with LTE:
Mtubutubu, N2 canefields, Wildenweide Richards bay, Nseleni Township, Esikhaweni Township, Ngwelezane Hospital and suroundings in the township, Empangeni central, Alkant strand beach Richards bay, Tuzugazi waterfront Richards Bay
If they got LTE in the rural area's here in Richards Bay I'm sure tons of other small towns also got LTE now and people don't even know it.....
