Viewsonic Vx2025VWM and Dell2007FPW

I require some help, i am current in the market for a new LCD, have narrowed it down to the above two widescreen lcd's, any opinions on which one is better or does anyone have the above screen?

O, and I heard the new 2007FPW's doesnt have this banding issue....its been resolved by Dell.

I have the VX2025 and I am very impressed by it. It uses a different (apparantly better) panal than the VA budget model and provdes very good image quality.

While a comparison between the budget VA and the dell 2007 is fair in the US, where the Dell is much cheaper, in SA the VX and Dell have a similar price.

Either way I'm sure you will enjoy your LCD - once you use a widescreen 20" everything else seems small!

Thanks, they both seem like excellent models, both have flaws but either way i dont think I can go wrong, am leaning towards the Dell cos it can pivot and turn, always a nice feature to have.
