Right... I've had it with Virgin Mobile. They are completely and utterly useless.
I ported to them at the end of May because I had issue's with Vodacom's service. Right now, Vodacom seems to have been a good dream.
Firstly, when I ported my phone went dead for a few days because the were having issues activating my number on the new sim.
Then, after that was fixed, GPRS didn't work, and I rely heavily on email while out of the office. I had to call these guys daily, and not once did they have the decency to return my calls. All they had to do was say, "It'll work in a weeks time", what they would say, "We'll call you tomorrow to check if its working". I'd then call back two days later, and they'd give the same line as above. It took about two weeks to fix.
During this period I also had, and still do, have problems with MMS, I would send a MMS to someone and it would send, but never arrive at the recipient, after long tests, I confirmed it would deliver to MTN and Virgin Mobile only, not CellC or Vodacom. This issue is still on going, and trying to get these people to return a call is impossible, you'll phone them, or make a complaint on hellopeter, they'd say they'd get back to you, but never do. The same problem exists with people sending me MMS's
And now, after all this, I haven't received a bill from them since porting, when I raised this with them last month, they said I'd get one this month (July), guess what, no bill. I contacted them, they have some excuse about my account still being in a test cycle, they'd let me know when my account will be sent to me. So, at the moment it's at R1450,00, apparently I must continue to wait until they decide they're ready to send me a bill...when will that be? One month? Two? Three?!
I give Virgin the following ratings:
Customer Service:0/10
Quality of Serivce:0/10
These guys don't give a damn. I am now going to port away from them. They have got to rate as the worst cellular service provider in the country.
