Virus Help

Hi, I recently got a virus from a friends pc where it basically corrupts all installations and most programs that I try to run meaning no anti-virus software can be run, I can still use my pc but 80% of the programs don't work.

On observation most of the filesizes have also changed but I haven't lost any drive space.

Has anybody heard of this virus and maybe a solution to fix this.

All advice welcome.

stick the drive in another machine (one with a good AV) and scan the dirve... hope that you don't lose too much stuff.

Your system is unfortunately totally hosed ... reformat and reinstall is the only solution here.
