I gotta agree with killadoob.
Bwana, besides "user-friendliness" OSX has nothing on other OS'es. The security argument is quite lame, as the number of problems detected and/or exploited in an OS are exponentially related to the OS'es user base. If the same amt of ppl were using OSX as Doze, then there woulod be the same amount of issues.
So more users means more problems?

You'd think that even with the minuscule user base [sic] there would a least be a half dozen viruses. Out of the box OsX is more secure than XP. Do care if some of this security is derived from being less popular and therefore less of a target than windows? Nope.
The issue that I have with Macs is there extremely overpriced hardware.
The new intel Macs let you run both XP and OsX. Thats something I'd be willing to pay a bit extra for. (I dont buy my Macs locally because quite frankly they're a rip off.) I wont even go into the whole aesthetics arena - but hey I'm shallow - looks are icing on the cake
I have a PC and I have a couple powerbooks and an iBook - the right tools for the job. I do my work with the macs and I play games on the windoze pc.
Will I upgrade the pc in the future - nah - I'd rather spend the money on an xbox 360. After that I'll pick up a intel Mac mini and run bootcamp. Then I'll have a box to learn to either love or hate Linux on.
I dont hate PCs and I dont think Macs are infallible - I just prefer them. I'm allowed to right??
