As many of you know, I always had a dislike for Vista. Infact I would rather have used Linux and struggled getting Windows Games to run on it. (if anyone tells me that it works perfectly, NOT ALL GAMES RUN ON CEDEGA, WINE OR CROSS OVER GAMES, sorry for the rant there)
After my fun with XP (its getting old now, seriously); Linux (I love this os I really do, but for everyday usage with the odd game, sorry but not yet)
I sat my self down and decided I would give Vista another go (I did pay for it after all) and decided I would slipstream SP1 into Vista along with all the latest updates.
I downloaded Vlite, and slipstreamed SP1 into my Vista Home Premium (x64). Then I finally burnt the ISO and formated my PC,, removing all other Os's including my old Vista install.
After install, I immediately felt a huge improvement in Vista, better performance, more stability, increased reliability. So far this OS for me, finally feels what Vista should have been like when it was released.
At the moment, I have no desire to use another OS, unless of cause something better comes along.
