I am struggling to get the E620 to work on my new lHP 530 laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic installed. The card works on my XP laptop.

What I have done so far:
1) Downloaded the MTN installation file which includes the Vista driver on my XP laptop
2) Installed the program as an administrator on the Vista laptop and turned User Account control off
3) Plugged in the E620

When the E620 is plugged in, it shows in Device Manager as a Universal Serial Bus (USB) controller (x 2). I know that it is supposed to show as NEC to PCI USB open host controller (x 2), so that means that the driver didn't install correctly. However, when I try to update the driver, Vista couldn't find anything online. I also tried to point to the E620 Vista driver in the MTN F@stlink software folder from Device manager, but it won't accept it as a valid driver. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but no luck.

I should add that I am not familiar with Vista yet, so I am probably getting something silly wrong. Can anyone help me?
