Vista will ruin the world. Here is the debate…

In asnwer to Antowan’s previous post, I have to raise one or two minor issues.

We now have more computing power on our desks than NASA had in the sixties. And how do we use this phenominal power? We allow Microsoft to make nauseating little windows with fuzzy edges that looks like fish paste smells.

We have terrabyte drives, and what do we use it for? To store billions of bytes of unnecessary libraries. True coders should be disgusted! (Honestly, the only disgust ou probably feel is early morrning when you realise how much porn you have on there).

Vista is ‘pretty damn good’, only when you’re used to nothing better. How the hell can it be ‘pretty damn good’ if informed people don’t want to touch it ‘with a disinfected street poll’?

Instead of using the power of computing for exciting ‘development of new ideas and tech’, we’re wasting it on bloatware and DRM. The only sci-fi I see happening is Nineteen Eighty-Four.

I agree old habits die hard: it’s too much effort to start thinking now.
