VNC - Need some advice

Heya peeps, i would like to setup VNC on my pc. On a ADSL connection (dynamic IP). I've tried setting it up myself, i also opened up certian ports that Real VNC uses. etc..etc

Running Real VNC 4.1.2


What kind of lag/ping would one get on VNC?? (currently struggling to get connected though)..

I would seriously consider Hamachi as well

Use Hamachi as well as it encrypts everything... oh... and no fancy router setup - it works p2p and can bypass most router firewalls, etc. This should also speed up things a little as ssl is compressed as well AFAIK.
Remember that RealVNC uses plain text passwords, etc, so there is no security.
