Hi,

Can't track down my contract (and me eyes are too old to read the fine print anyway :) ...

I assume an account takeover has to be an informal process between account holder and interested party, rather than an official VC thang?

Ta for info...

The interested party has to pass voda credit vetting, otherwise you can setup a formal agreement between yourself and the person taking over. Be very carefull about this as you will be responsible for the bill at the end of the day ( kind of like signing surity). I suggest the person takes over the contract by both of you going into a voda shop with your particulars, letting voda o credit vetting and signing the contract over. Then you know you free and clear. The other route of an agreement between the 2 parties still leaves you ultimately responsible for the account. So if the other party does not pass credit vetting either don't transfer or setup a legaly binding agreement remembering that the account is in your name and any default on the side of the other party will effect your credit record.

You wanna do it properly! Seriously!

If they run up the bill, you get nailed and no form of 'behind the scenes' documentation will help you once the Cell providers stick a lawyer on you!

Thanks for this. I poked around the VC website and could not find any indication as to whether one could or how one did this.
