Good for their business I guess. Sucks having to use “credit” for a necessity in the modern age.

What interest do they charge on airtime advances?

I bought some by mistake and the fees or whatever it was cost 30% of what I bought but I’m not sure if their lending rate has a minimum charge or is sliding. Either way it’s credit and they will charge interest.

No interest, it's a r1 service fee.

At R10 a time, at least that's the max I get offered via the app. So it's 10% charge.

I didn’t know it had a limit, so guaranteed minimum 10% interest and you pay it back with your next recharge so for the majority of users that’s really soon, the loan will typically be paid back in under a week or 2.

You can get upto r100 depending on your profile.
The aa only activates if u recharge with r50 for 3 months.
Then slowly they increase ur limit when u pay them back regularly, somewhat similar to a credit card.

I just found out that u can't brow more than r11 at a time. They give u r11 and charge r1 as service fee.
So if u want to borrow more (If u are elligible) they will give u another r11 and u will be charged r1 service fee again.
U cannot take r22 in one go
