For that testing particular?B1 + B3 + B8
Which router are you using and how do you change bands?100 Mbps - LTE-A
I'm going to try a XPOL-6 next week, during the day I get quite a bit of fluctuation in signal which causes some instability.

B3 gives me about 25 Mbps upload, but due to signal fluctuations, the router prefers B1 as the primary band. I'll see if this changes with the XPOL-6.For that testing particular?
I find I get better upload on b1
Currently a Huawei H112-370. To change bands I'm using an Android app called huaCtrl Pro. There are other tools you can use, such as Band Tools.Which router are you using and how do you change bands?

Also. Have one of these of someone wants
XPOL-6 made no improvement. If anything the signal is worse, I’ve tried every possible direction. The antenna is uni-directional. I’m willing to try an Omni-directional one from Takealot. Will see how that goes next week.
That's bad... I was having the very same problem with congested 4G around.XPOL-6 made no improvement. If anything the signal is worse, I’ve tried every possible direction. The antenna is uni-directional. I’m willing to try an Omni-directional one from Takealot. Will see how that goes next week.
I have just received a message from Vodacom that I will be credited for the incorrect amount charged.I noticed that there is a charge of R25.25 on my December invoice that is still related to November.

Anyone else?
I hooked it up again today. My signal stats are quite a bit better, but my SINR is poor. I saw it spike to 28 once, so I *think* I'm picking up two cells that are quite close and the one is creating interference. That doesn't seem right at all.
The XPOL-6 is 11dbi and the routers are only 3dbi if I'm not mistaken.

RSRQ -7
RSRP -69
SINR 6
Will do some tweaking tomorrow, there was a point were I saw SINR of 20-24.
There's only so much time I can throw at it. I haven't been able to get > 50 Mbps recently with the holidays.
No, that made no difference. I wonder if someone if the area using a booster could cause this? You can also try rotating the antenna, that might clean up the signal.

About 1km to the tower. I tried many spots, uni directional gets great rsrp but poor/fluctuating sinr. I’ll try at the furthest point of my property or with some height of an old telkom pole. Just have to wait for the rain to stop. The best spot I have so far is with the router face down on the curtain railCould be. I rate it's worth trying out some different locations and seeing if there's a difference.
Just a couple degrees should be enough to get rid of much of the noise if you are indeed right in the beam path of another user.
That works vertically as well, so changing the height of the antenna should also make a difference.
How far away is your tower? Obviously the closer it is, the more of a difference the antenna location will make.
