Hi all,

I have looked into a variety of providers in terms of moving from Telkom ADSL to a Fibre Optic offering (BitCo, Cipherwave and Neotel). However, now my one director is talking about Vodacom BCF as it is cheaper.

Everywhere I look I cannot find if Vodacom offers this as a first tier company and what their contention ratios are.

Can anyone in the know assist me? Also if anyone has used them (from a business perspective) and whether they are reliable etc? At the end of the day, anything I am sure is better than Telkom ADSL, however with the level of frustration I experience now from an IT perspective and unreliability I would really be loathe to jump from the Telkom frying pan to the Vodacom fire.

Any input, advise, comments etc would be most useful as I cannot really discredit the Vodacom option without any sort of hard facts at hand.

AKAIK Vodacom will only give you Fibre connections via a re seller.

You will have to find a re seller to get pricing and other info

I started this process 4 months ago, and still waiting.
I stopped nagging for feedback last month (basically given up).

Contacting Vodacom re this solution is also impossible. If the call centre answers, all they do is take down your details (no one ever calls you back). The "contact me" form also never gets a reply.

If you are still interested in giving it a go I can send you details for an agent in JHB (possibly also CPT), just PM me.

This is exactly what I was worried about, as the same thing happened to me yesterday when I called their Sales number. I am still waiting for a call back. I am wanting a solution, not a whole new set of problems.

Has anyone heard of BitCo / Cipherwave .... or had dealings with them?
